The Story of ANU
Anu, pronounced an-oo, is the mother-Earth Goddess in Celtic tradition. She is the Goddess of fertility, prosperity, and comfort.
The ancients used Celtic knot symbols as a way to express our interconnectedness with others, and with nature. The Celtic triple spiral or triskele symbol in the design is sometimes called the spiral of life. They believed that all important things came in three; birth, life and death; mind, body and spirit; land, sea, and sky.
I wanted to open a salon that offered clients a haven of peace and tranquility infused with nature. When we take a moment to reconnect to our natural surroundings there is a serenity that falls upon us. We all deserve a few moments to balance our mind, body, and spirit. In this act we replenish our reserves to face the world again.
Here at ANU it is really important to be responsible for our communities and our planet. I only offer natural and organic products. I want to preserve what we have for future generations as well as improve our way of life now.
